Copperleaf Bar & Terrace and Waterleaf Restaurant & Bar will offer the ultimate Irish experience on March 17. At Copperleaf Bar & Terrace, guests can sip on an Irish cocktail or beer as they enjoy chef specials like Shepard’s pie, lamb patty melt, and corned beef & cabbage. At Waterleaf, guests can begin their gastronomic experience at noon, indulging in a two-course Irish meal which includes one shot of Jameson or Guinness, traditional corned beef brisket and colcannon potatoes, and Guinness chocolate cake with Irish coffee whipped cream.
Staple’s own Spicy Corned Beef Sandwich
You may know Chef Scott Staples for his indulgent burgers, but word on the street is that his braised sandwiches deserve accolades of their own. If you’ve got a hankering for braised pulled corned beef, manchengo cheese, spicy thousand island sauce, pickled pepper with cabbage slaw on rye bread, head over to Feed Co. Burgers, where, for $12, you can sink your teeth into Staple’s own Spicy Corned Beef Sandwich. Keep an eye out for pastrami, duck leg, short rib, tri-tip, and pork braised sandwiches, making their debuts later this year.
McMenamins hosts St. Patrick’s Day at the Anderson School
This St. Patrick’s Day McMenamins is hosting three days’ (March 15, 16 and 17) worth of holiday festivities at the Anderson School in Bothell. The Chris Poage Band will be performing in Haynes Hall and the Colm MacCarthaigh Trio and Cavort Celtic will be playing in the Shed. Make sure to try the Irish stout, Rueben, corned beef & cabbage, Sheppard’s pie, and Irish stew. All McMenamins locations will be celebrating on March 17. Admission is free and all ages are welcome.
