Taco Time NW Foundation Awards $25K to Those Exiting Homelessness

Taco Time NW Foundation has provided a $25,000 grant to Congregations For The Homeless (CFH) to support the opening of an additional home for men on the Eastside who are exiting homelessness, the foundation announced.

The On & Up housing model, first opened by CFH in September 2018, works with men who have steady income, can pay a portion of monthly rent, and need minor case management support to get back on their feet.

In light of the success of the housing model and program, CFH and Taco Time entered into a partnership that has allowed CFH to open a second On & Up house in Bellevue.

“CFH is deeply grateful for the Taco Time NW’s investment in hope, transformation, and housing stability for men in need of a home,” stated executive director David Bowling. “This home is providing, and will continue to provide, a place for dozens of men to rejuvenate, dream, and live into their full potential. We look forward to partnering to give hope and a path to stable living to men for years to come.”
