Taste Summer at Tulalip

When is the last time you visited the Tulalip Resort Casino? If it has been awhile, it’s time to return and check out all that is new with their dining scene, and catch a summer concert under the stars.

Let’s start with the fresh food options. The new Tula Bene Pastaria + Chophouse is now open. There, you can savor house-made pasta, perfectly seared steak, and of course, Italian wines and more on a wine list curated by Sommelier Tom Thompson that is delicious, fun, and approachable.

When you go, try the lobster ravioli, or the J.T. burger, which is a mix of loin, brisket, waygu and oxtail — you’ve never had a burger like this before. Even the sides are creative, from the nettle risotto with bee pollen and lavender, to a baked potato topped with marrow butter, pancetta, and bleu cheese.

Other highlights from Chef Jeremy Taisey include six prime and upper choice Double R Ranch steaks and the chef’s house-made D’Angelo sausages. The Cacio e Pepe, a traditional chitarra pasta, is tossed tableside with pecorino cheese, and obviously black pepper.

“Chef Jeremy Taisey has a real zest for preparing and creating fresh house-made Italian dishes and is always finding local products to feature on his seasonally inspired menus,” Executive Chef Perry Mascitti said.

Pastry Chef Nikol Nakamura has new desserts too, including sweet pecorino cake with candied tomatoes, and olive oil gelato.

At Blazing Paddles, you get to top your pizza anyway you like it, choosing from over 50 toppings to go on their signature dough. Sauces range from classic red to pesto oil and smoky barbecue. You can event get shrimp or blackfish salmon as a topping.

If fresh seafood — especially oysters — are your thing, head to Blackfish where they source oysters from the best places from Hood Canal to B.C. and all the briny places in between. The Alderwood roasted clams and wild salmon chowder won’t disappoint either.

But don’t just go for the food. There is plenty of gaming fun, an awesome swimming pool, and the amazing relaxation in the luxury rooms or the T Spa — during summer you can see some of the biggest acts during the Tulalip summer concert series. See Clint Black and Sarah Evans, Styx, Dwight Yoakam, and more. And if that wasn’t enough, it is all located right next to the Seattle Premium Outlets for back-to-school shopping.
