Taste Washington is Old Enough to Drink

Coming off its biggest year ever in 2017, Taste Washington is back from March 22-25 for its 21st year, with events in several locations spanning the four-day festival during Washington State Wine Month. Kicking off the festival on March 22 is the Red & White Party at AQUA by El Gaucho ($175) — 21 wineries pouring 91-point and higher wines accompanied by a huge spread of seafood and small bites. Guests come decked out in their red-and-white best. Tasting Washington on the Farm occurs during the day at multiple locations throughout the region on March 23. That evening is The New Vintage ($80) at the Seattle Center’s Fisher Pavilion, with celebrity chef tasting stations and current vintage Washington wines. The Grand Tasting (prices vary) occurs Saturday and Sunday, March 24-25, with Taste & Savor Tours available (ticketed separately) — more than 225 wineries and nearly 65 restaurants pour sips and serve bites. tastewashington.org
