Three Traditional Festive Meals Are a-Go-Go with Lisa Dupar Catering

Holiday season is upon us, and Chef Lisa Dupar of Pomegranate Bistro and her catering team understand the value of beloved food traditions.

This December, they’re offering a variety of Festivus A-Go-Go meals that will strike a chord with those hungry for nostalgic favorites this season.

Latke’s A-Go-Go

Whether you’re craving a serving of traditional latkes with crème fraîche and apple butter sauce or a full latke dinner for six, Aunt Frieda Rothstein’s family recipes have you covered for Hanukkah. With side dishes like beautifully braided challah, matzo ball soup, a chopped liver spread, and jelly-filled doughnuts, this is a meal that tastes like home. Available Dec. 10-18, orders must be placed with a three-day notice. You can either call (425) 881-3250 or email

Tamales A-Go-Go

A veteran of Chef Dupar’s culinary staff, Juan Núñez shares his family recipe for tamales, a Christmastime staple for many. Three different flavors are available: chicken chile verde, pork chile rojo, and jalapeño cheese. Each is sold by the half dozen with a minimum order of one dozen. Mix and match as you please. Juan’s popular salsa is included, but you can order more as well as sweet treats like flan or Mexican eggnog. Place orders three days in advance. Available every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, plus Dec. 22 and 23, and by noon on Christmas Eve. Order by calling (425) 881-3250, emailing, or placing an order online here.

Holiday A-Go-Go

If you’re craving a complete holiday dinner with sides and a choice of pie (the famous banana coconut cream pie is among the choices), you have the option to go with a “classic set.” For your main entrée, you can choose between a rich espresso-cocoa nib spiced beef tenderloin or duck prepared two ways, with a seared breast over a confit duck leg. Sides of winter vegetables served multiple ways and a sweet finish with four different dessert options will surely welcome a long winter’s nap. Place orders three days in advance, available for pickup Dec. 22 and Dec. 23 and by noon on Christmas Eve. Order by calling (425) 881-3250, emailing, or heading online.
