Willows Lodge Celebrates 20 Years as an Eastside-Favorite Getaway

2000 — the year of the new millennium — saw the opening of Willows Lodge and an elegant start to Woodinville’s growth as a travel-worthy destination to experience Washington wine and its growing reputation within the wine industry.

Two decades later, this Eastside oasis is staying the course and celebrating its Sept. 19 anniversary as a place of relaxation and a showcase for locavore-minded food and wine aficionados.

“20 years ago we opened our doors for the first time to guests seeking a relaxing refuge from the hustle and bustle of daily life in a new wine country region,” says Anthony Berkau, general manager of the Willows Lodge. “Woodinville Wine Country has seen tremendous growth and change, and this boutique lodge has become the heart of hospitality in a thriving destination for locals and travelers from around the world.”

A popular choice for weddings and celebrations of all kinds, Willows Lodge is encouraging everyone to share their memorable moments in their Cheers to 20 Years contest, currently running until Oct. 9. The lodge is welcoming photo or story entries. The winner will be awarded a one-night stay for two, a $150 dining credit with the Barking Frog, and other surprises.

In honor of its anniversary — and yours — the lodge has put together a deluxe 20 Years of Romance Package, which includes overnight accommodations in one of its guest rooms or suites, special anniversary cocktails in the Fireside Lounge, a bottle of Dom Perignon with two Willows Lodge 20th Anniversary commemorative Champagne flutes, a $200 dining credit including a special dessert, and a two-hour platinum spa package for couples. Visit the packages & specials page for details and to view other offers.

If you don’t have time for a staycation but are in need of relaxation, the lodge’s Platinum Spa Package is available on its own. It includes a 60-minute couples’ massage and a two-hour-long Neroli body wrap/scrub treatment. Available through Dec. 31, the lodge recommends booking via email at spa@willowslodge.com or calling at 425-424-2900.

The Willows Lodge team continues its increased cleaning and disinfectant program in line with CDC guidelines to address guests’ concerns. Staffers encourage visitors to read the lodge’s health & safety page for more details.
