Winterized Patios and Partial In-Place Seating Open

Outdoor patio dining continues and COVID-related restrictions have been incrementally lifting, allowing for some in-place dining. The general requirements remain the same for masks and limited table seating, so bundle up and rock your favorite winter wear. Don’t be shy about bringing a blanket, either. Check with the business to see whether reservations are required and on other requirements.

OUTDOOR/PATIO SEATING

Carillon Kitchen.

CARILLON KITCHEN | KIRKLAND

The café and juice bar is great for on-the-go goods, but it also has a heated patio, where you can sit for a spell, have a proper breakfast, and sip smoothies at your leisure. Open daily for breakfast and lunch until 2 p.m.

AGAVE | REDMOND, ISSAQUAH, SEATTLE, AND KENT

Their covered and heated patios allow for in-place dining and sipping from one of their 100-plus different tequilas. Agave’s tents have a unique feature, with mesh “walls” allowing for both increased light and airflow. For takeout patrons, the Redmond location has streamlined their online ordering for ordering and paying via their web-site — skip delivery fees, opt for pickup, and your Taco Tuesday is even more convenient. Visit their site for details.

THE BLACK DUCK CASK & BOTTLE HOUSE | ISSAQUAH

This gastropub has been steadily serving crave-worthy pizza and ribs, as well as massive breakfast sandwiches (available on Saturdays). It continues with takeout orders, and for those wanting to dine in-person, there is limited patio seating from Wednesdays through Sun-days, with reservations required and a time limit of one and a half hours for a maximum party of five.

The Bine.

THE BINE BEER & FOOD | BOTHELL

A gem for beer aficionados, the Bine’s stellar menu keeps hungry appetites coming back for more, with its incredible fried chicken sandwich and hearty side dishes, like the honey sriracha Brussels sprouts and traditional German-style potato salad. The tented seating area is on the pedestrian-only Main Street, offering ample space to bundle up for a brew or three.

PARTIAL IN-PLACE DINING

Beardslee Public House.

BEARDSLEE PUBLIC HOUSE | BOTHELL

Beardslee’s outdoor patio seating and dining room have been able to open for partial in-place distanced seating, with the large windows and garage-style doors opened to pro-mote airflow. Heaters are in place for the patio, and fire pit seating is available, weather permitting.

ASCEND PRIME STEAK & SUSHI | BELLEVUE

For those longing for a special date night out, complete with stunning views, guests have the option to dine inside Ascend’s lounge and dining room, or on the outdoor patio spaces. Seating will be at limited 25 percent capacity, and reservations are encouraged.
